"I had wandered across a wide shallow stream that grew deeper and faster as I fished along its cut bank, paying little attention to anything but the good rainbows I was taking. At a point where the current and depth made it impossible to move in any direction, I clung to a tree branch and wondered WTH. Immediately I saw Ben wading out to me but I tried to wave him off for his own safety. Steadily he closed the distance and after a few words of instructive encouragement from him, we locked arms and he steadily hauled me to the safe shore. Ben knows where the fish are, how to catch them, and his infectious enthusiasm is unsurpassed. He is also a fine cook and a pretty good wader. Although I am old enough to be his father, I can't help but think of him as my big brother."
